(Media-Newswire.com) - Professor Ania Zalewska has been awarded a position of Visiting Scholar by Haas School of Business at Berkeley, University of California, to visit the School and to research at Berkeley.
During her visit in July and August, she will continue research on financial characteristics of companies involved in cartel agreements and on managerial incentives.
The research on the financial characteristics of companies engaged in cartels will help identify whether particular groups of companies are more likely to be taking advantage of illegal and market-damaging activities than others. The research on managerial incentives analyses whether the link between tournament remuneration structures and firm performance depends on the corporate culture of companies.
