2010 NIT Bracketology Charts Released for Tournament
The 2010 NIT bracketology tournament schedule has been released. The men's basketball brackets have been determined in advance of this year's National Invitation Tournament which starts with several games in the opening round March 16.
(Media-Newswire.com) - The 2010 NIT bracketology tournament schedule has been released. The men's basketball brackets have been determined in advance of this year's National Invitation Tournament which starts with several games in the opening round March 16.
The schedule has the opening round to begin play in the men's basketball tourney on March 16 & 17th. The second round runs on the dates March 18-22. Next comes the quarterfinals which take place on March 23 and 24. The semifinals complete on March 30.
The NIT tournament championship game finished up on April Fool's Day - April 1 in a live event from Madison Square Garden in New York City at 7 PM.
The entire schedule for the NIT bracketology tournament can be found on the home website of http://NIT.org.
UConn vs. Northeastern takes place at 7 PM on March 16 in one of the very first NIT selection show games. The UConn team comes into the tournament with a 17-15 record against the 20-12 Northeastern team.
