The cell phone launched directly by Google has a host of impressive features including a high clarit screen, 5 megapixel camera and the new Android OS version 2.1.
The sales numbers are unique in that the Google Nexus One phone has only been sold over the web as opposed to any other phone which can be purchased at local stores.
Another factor in the sales figures is that Google has not marketed the phone with print and TV advertisements. Other phones such as the Droid which runs the Android system and the Apple IPhone have huge marketing campaigns on television and print.
