OAS Secretary General to Visit Panama and Costa Rica
The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Jose Miguel Insulza, is set to visit Panama and Costa Rica at the end of the week.
(Media-Newswire.com) - The Secretary General of the Organization of American States ( OAS ), José Miguel Insulza, is set to visit Panama and Costa Rica at the end of the week.
Secretary General Insulza will travel to Panama City, Panama, on Thursday, January 14, where he will meet with the country’s President, Ricardo Martinelli Berrocal, and with its Vice President and Minister of Foreign Relations, Juan Carlos Varela Rodríguez.
On the same day, the Secretary General will travel to San José, Costa Rica, where he will meet with the country’s President, Óscar Arias, and will attend the inauguration of Víctor M. Villalobos as the new Director General of the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture ( IICA ).
