Shopper Mary Anastos says, "The Kmart black Friday deals posted online seem to be as good or better than other retailers but I have to arrive early to grab thee money saving deals."
Among the items featured are a Magellan Roadmate GPS unit for a unheard of price $84.99. A Sony LCD TV 32 inches wide priced at $379.99.
Also shown are several jewelery items including earrings and a diamond with gold necklace.
Traditionally, the Black Friday deals start with shoppers lining up even as early as Thanksgiving day. These early-birds camp out in order to get the best deals available.
With the recent history of stampedes and violence at some stores, the retailers are taking extra precautions to prevent such problems. Techniques such as going through the line to identify items to be purchased and lines for a specific product are being implemented.
