Tenders invited for Kai Tak development infrastructure works
The scope of the project "Kai Tak Development th Stage 1 Infrastructure Works at North Apron Area of Kai Tak Airport for Public Housing and Government Offices Developments" comprises construction of approximately 2.6-kilometre-long roads within the project site including the control, management, maintenance and diversion of existing roads, two footbridges, associated drainage including box culverts, sewerage and water main works, enhancement and extension works of existing subways, landscape hardworks and softworks and environmental mitigation measures.
(Media-Newswire.com) - The Civil Engineering and Development Department ( CEDD ) today ( April 30 ) invited tenders for infrastructure works at Kai Tak North Apron.
The scope of the project “Kai Tak Development – Stage 1 Infrastructure Works at North Apron Area of Kai Tak Airport for Public Housing and Government Offices Developments” comprises construction of approximately 2.6-kilometre-long roads within the project site including the control, management, maintenance and diversion of existing roads, two footbridges, associated drainage including box culverts, sewerage and water main works, enhancement and extension works of existing subways, landscape hardworks and softworks and environmental mitigation measures.
The works are scheduled to begin in July and will take about 41 months to complete.
The CEDD has commissioned Ove Arup & Partners Hong Kong Ltd to design and supervise the construction works.
The invitation to tender was gazetted today and the closing time of the tender will be noon on June 12.
