(Media-Newswire.com) - News from Super Bowl XLIV with the Indianapolis Colts taking on the New Orleans Saints tomorrow in the big football game has Colts fans concerned due to reported injuries to top players. Dwight Freeney and Reggie Wayne have experienced injuries leading up to the game and their status has been updated.
Freeney injured his ankle in the AFC championship game two weeks ago where he tore a ligament at the end of the game. No official word from the Colts to his playing status at game time as he has been rehabilitating the injury.
Reggie Wayne was injured during a practice Friday. He left that practice early with a injury to his kneecap but is expected to play on Sunday.
