The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, will travel to Jamaica tomorrow, Tuesday, October 27, to participate in the inaugural ceremony of the Fifth Ministerial Meeting on “Agriculture and Rural Life in the Americas.”




(Media-Newswire.com) - The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, will travel to Jamaica tomorrow, Tuesday, October 27, to participate in the inaugural ceremony of the Fifth Ministerial Meeting on “Agriculture and Rural Life in the Americas.”

Secretary General Insulza will deliver a speech during the ceremony, which begins at 17:00 (22:00 GMT) and in which will also participate the Prime Minister of Jamaica, Bruce Holding, the Minister of Agriculture and Fishing of Jamaica, Christopher Tufton, and the Director General of the Inter-American Institute of Cooperation for Agriculture (IICA), Chelston Brathwaite.

The Secretary General of the OAS will return to Washington, D.C., on Wednesday, October 28.
