Willmar, MN—The Ridgewater College Women’s Volleyball team are this year’s NJCAA Division III National Champions. The number 3 seeded Lady Warriors defeated number 1 seeded Central Lakes College of Brainerd in the semifinals, moving on to beat Edison Community College of Ohio in the finals Saturday at the tournament in Rochester, Minnesota.

Willmar, MN—The Ridgewater College Women’s Volleyball team are this year’s NJCAA Division III National Champions. The number 3 seeded Lady Warriors defeated number 1 seeded Central Lakes College of Brainerd in the semifinals, moving on to beat Edison Community College of Ohio in the finals Saturday at the tournament in Rochester, Minnesota.
Many individuals from the team took home accolades. Ashley Olson, sophomore for Ridgewater, was named the tournament MVP. The All-Tournament Team included three other Lady Warriors - Jackie Noyes, Ashley Hennen, Hilary Groothuis. First year Ridgewater coach Joe Sussenguth was named as the Heidi Hutchinson Coach of the Tournament Award winner.
